Timeless Jewel Socket Finder

Scan a known Timeless Jewel Seed across all 15 supported main-tree sockets, rank build-relevant changes and compare the best placement before respeccing.

Last updated August 30, 2026

Calculate a known Jewel on the main workbench, then choose Scan all Sockets. The scan reuses the exact figure and Seed instead of asking you to repeat the calculation 15 times.

The Seed stays fixed; the affected neighborhood does not

A Seed determines how a passive node is transformed for that Jewel family. A Socket determines which nodes are close enough to be affected. Moving the same physical Jewel can therefore expose a different set of Notables, ordinary passives and Keystones even though the Seed has not changed.

This is why screenshots without a Socket node ID are weak evidence. Keep the Jewel type, figure, Seed and Socket together whenever you compare a listing, PoB build or shared result.

How the Socket ranking is built

Without a target rule, the scan favors changes on imported allocated nodes, then Notables and other affected passives. If Seed Finder targets are present, the same target phrases and weights are applied to every Socket. This lets a known item answer two different questions:

  • Which Socket changes the most relevant nodes in my existing build?
  • Which Socket produces the required stat phrase at least twice?

The score is a sorting aid. A Socket several passive points away can still be worse than a lower-scoring placement already on the route. Importing the PoB tree makes allocated hits visible, and the exact tree view remains the final check.

Main-tree Sockets and Cluster Jewels

TimelessCalc scans 15 fixed Jewel Sockets on the current main passive tree. It does not invent a universal coordinate for expansion Sockets created inside Cluster Jewel layouts. Those positions belong to a particular build and do not map to the same fixed main-tree radius dataset.

A quick test before buying

  1. Paste the listing's item text so the figure and Seed are not mistyped.
  2. Import the intended PoB build.
  3. Calculate at the Socket shown in the build guide.
  4. Scan all Sockets only if the original placement is weak or the guide leaves the Socket ambiguous.
  5. Save the best two placements and compare the exact Diff, especially the Keystone.

Sources and data scope

The current Socket list and calculation release are published on data status. Timeless Jewel radius and Seed behavior are also described by the community-maintained PoE Wiki. The full-tree renderer uses the current 3.29 tree and shows the selected radius directly.
