Calculated outcome
The four coordinates
A reliable timeless jewel calculator needs more than a seed. The final outcome is the intersection of four pieces of information.
Each civilization changes the tree differently. Karui and Maraketh jewels add attributes, while Vaal and Eternal jewels can replace passive identities.
The named conqueror or historical figure determines the keystone result. That is why two jewels with the same type and seed can still require a different variant selection.
The printed seed selects deterministic notable replacements and additions. Leading zeroes do not alter its numeric meaning.
Only passives around the selected socket are transformed. Moving one jewel across the tree changes the set of nearby nodes before the seed is evaluated.

Field notes
Short answers to the details that most often cause an incorrect result.
The seed is the number printed in the jewel's historical modifier. It selects a deterministic set of changes for that jewel type. The same type and seed always produce the same node changes on the same passive tree version.
Yes. A Timeless Jewel only affects passives inside its radius. Moving the same jewel to another socket changes which nodes fall inside that radius, so the visible result can be completely different.
The figure printed on the jewel determines which keystone transformation applies. A seed alone cannot distinguish Doryani from Xibaqua, Kaom from Akoya, or the other current variants.
The calculator data and transformation rules are pinned to Path of Building Community commit a02dbf94ccd04577e02c1224311c815643c152e6. Golden compatibility tests are used to detect differences before a data release.
This release supports the Path of Exile 3.29 mainline passive tree with data version 2026-08-03.1. It does not silently switch to a different or historical tree.
No. TimelessCalc reports passive changes only. It does not score a jewel, estimate a price, search trade listings, or decide whether a seed is valuable for a particular build.
