Current storage

The calculator uses sessionStorage, a tab-scoped browser storage mechanism, to restore the selected jewel type, variant, seed and socket for up to six hours. The optional-services choice is stored in localStorage so the site can remember whether Google Analytics is allowed.

Strictly necessary behavior

Static calculation data may be cached by your browser or Cloudflare so repeated calculations load quickly. Those caches contain the same public engine files for every visitor and do not contain your seed or result.

Optional services

Google Analytics 4 does not load until “Accept optional” is selected. When enabled, Google may set cookies such as _ga and a measurement-specific _ga_* cookie to distinguish visits. Choosing “Reject optional” prevents future analytics collection and attempts to remove those cookies. The calculator continues to work when optional storage is refused.

Clearing storage

Close the tab to end its calculator session, or use your browser’s site-data controls to remove cached files and storage for timelesscalc.com.
